| UT is a replacement for Notepad. Some enhancements are available. You can change fonts, it remembers size and position of window, last path, and the size of text files is limited to 2 G Bytes. The best of all, some of commands are available from command line, so, it can be used for printing text files directly from DOS programmes (e.g. Clipper). Since sources are included, you can make it in your own language, what ever version you use. | |
| W32DBU is Win32 DBU clon. This version uses BDE, so if you are not a Delphi, dBase or C++Builder user, you must load BDE too. Some minor bugs are stil in the program, but it is useful anyway. | |

| We discussed many times with fellow programmers, what would be the best way to go from Clipper programming to Windows. There are many possibilities and the one of them we find was to programme in Clipper (DOS Window), and generate reports in HTML format. It seems easy enough, but quite few of my friends keep asking, how it can be done. This file is the answer. You can write title and footer of window, use relative coordinates... Available are also some derivatives from WinShade, like ErrMess(), MsgOn()---MsgOff(), MsgInp(). The code is 100% Clipper, but is very fast, so you don't need any C or Assembly routines. |
